      Secondary Transition Interagency Conference

      North Dakota is devoted to creating successful transitions for students with disabilities. The ND Department of Public Instruction along with the ND Transition Community of Practice on Transition is excited to announce the 2019 Interagency Transition Conference. Involvement will create an outstanding opportunity to interact with National and State leaders regarding transition issues/activities across ND. “BLAZING A TRAIL 2019” is an opportunity you will not want to miss!   Speakers include: Collin Diedrich, Kevin Fortunato and Chris Coulson, ND Student/Parent Panel, Bob Upgren and Youth Empowering Social Success (YESS) Additional Information:   20 concurrent sessions (some of the topics include: cultural inclusion, customized employment, self-advocacy, supported decision making, guardianship and more) Exhibitor booths on November 6 Option to earn graduate credit and certificates for attendance will be available for those seeking professional hours A block of sleeping rooms will be available at the following hotels under "DPI Secondary Transition": Ramkota Hotel (release date of October 19th), EverSpring Inn and Suites (release date of October 23rd) and Expressway Suites (release date of October 16th). *** Once you register, you will receive confirmation for the Secondary Transition Interagency Conference by email.
